Jeff Trujillo, MA, LPC, is a psychotherapist licensed in the state of Arizona, practicing in the southern Arizona communities of Sierra Vista and Bisbee. He works with individuals, couples and families on a wide range of individual, relational and mental health concerns.
Jeff’s education and clinical training includes an Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology as well as a Bachelor of Science in Optical Engineering. Believing strongly in the utility of education and growth, Jeff also is trained in specific clinical modalities such as EMDR and Clinical Hypnosis.
Jeff has worked in the field of mental health since 2005 and has worked with populations ranging in age from 8 to 75, civilian populations, active duty and retired military personnel, fire service and law enforcement personnel, GLBTQ individuals. Jeff’s previous professional background involved physics and small business, working on a worldwide basis with a diversity of clients.
Jeff is also involved in the education of others as an adjunct professor teaching undergraduate psychology courses as well as working as a course development consultant. Additionally he provides lectures and presentations in his community regarding a variety of mental health issues.
Utilizing a degree in Optical Engineering, Jeff was involved in applied physics and medical instrumentation for 19 years before changing careers. He worked worldwide assisting physicians in the integration of medical devices into their practices, was involved in the formation of medical instrumentation distributorships, organized and conducted engineer training, worked in field service, and was also involved in high-energy laser research for the Department of Energy.
