Areas of specialty for Jeff include working with individuals wanting to overcome the impact of childhood abuse and neglect, folks wanting to deal with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Gender Identity issues, GLBTQ issues.  Coming from a professional background, Jeff also focuses on executive consultation.

To help meet the needs generated by these issues, Jeff has been trained in a variety of clinical techniques.  These include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, an integrative psychotherapy approach for the treatment of trauma.

Jeff is also trained in Ericksonian Clinical Hypnosis, another powerful psychotherapeutic approach to identify internal strengths and goals, engender change, process trauma, and create a more successful life.

Jeff is extensively trained and experienced in working with those with dissociative disorders to include Dissociative Identity Disorder. His approach to this work includes the incorporation of the current best practices in this field. He engages in this work with an attitude of safety, respect and integrity.

Staying connected with other professionals in his field is an important way for Jeff to stay up-to-date on current research, best practices, and relevant changes in the field. As such, Jeff is a member of the American Counseling Association, the Arizona Counseling Association, and the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation.
